#Android #Privacy So here's a trick for those that use an android phone. Go to : Settings>About phone>Software information> tap build number 7 times>enter your pin. Now your phone is in developer mode. Go to the main page of settings>developer options>quick settings developer tiles>enable sensors off. Now go back to your main phone screen and swipe down to the quick settings. You'll see now a new icon on top left that says: Sensors off. If You turn that on, camera's, mic, gyroscope and accelerometer will be disabled. It's great for moments when privacy is needed in the real world while having your phone with You. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes, it is a more privacy focused OS. However, it still grants apps acces to those sensors, camera and the mic even when these apps aren't used at that moment. To have this one click button to turn them off, the procedure is the same as with android. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I didn't ask about GrapheneOS. I tagged GrapheneOS accounts to enquire whether the described procedure is sensible from their POV (on GrapheneOS).
