I haven't done it, but the Umbrel Linyx distro looks promising. It boots to a webpage, no desktop environment.

I don't know of one, strfry was the most simple, I found. I also needed to a write filter for it though.

I think you can just click a couple buttons and pay 12k sats a month with https://relay.tools. Haven’t tried it though.
1. Get old laptop
2. Install Umbrel
3. Install Nostr Relay app
4. Add relay to Nostr Client
Other option (public relay)
1. Get VPS
2. Install LNBits
3. Install Relay Extension
4. Configure Relay Extension
5. Add relay to Nostr client

I have a node that I built with umbrel. I recently downloaded Nostr relay. Not sure what else to do. I’ll spend a bit more time looking at it.
Can I use the private relay I just created on @umbrel to back up notes on several different nostr accounts?
