True security is better than just obscurity, but you can stamp anything that you’d want to be fireproof or conveniently obscure enough to go through checkpoints 👍

Yeah which is a very important component in the process. I just don't love the idea of keeping my entire life savings in plain text. Because if someone were to (somehow) come across it, the bitcoin is gone. There's nothing stopping them at that point.

I don’t disagree. And this doesn’t have to be an end-all solo solution. There are many ways to properly secure keys etc. People currently do larger steel plates or many things far worse/perishable in terms of storing important info. While you can store the info in any obscure way you like, this is a convenient way to do so. Completely fire safe while also small, portable and obscure. Other hardware/devices can project something important. Brain wallets deteriorate 😬 I’m always interested to hear of smart folks’ best practices in this area.
