I don’t disagree. And this doesn’t have to be an end-all solo solution. There are many ways to properly secure keys etc. People currently do larger steel plates or many things far worse/perishable in terms of storing important info. While you can store the info in any obscure way you like, this is a convenient way to do so. Completely fire safe while also small, portable and obscure. Other hardware/devices can project something important. Brain wallets deteriorate 😬 I’m always interested to hear of smart folks’ best practices in this area.
