Growing up I really hated doing yard work and mowing. I made a promise to myself that I would never have a lawn or anything to take care of. Naturally, my house is now landscaped as a rocky desert. But, I do find joy in some aspects of home maintenance. For example, I can’t wait till my driveway is filthy so I can pressure wash it. It’s not there yet but the day will come and I’ll be ready 🤣
