The evidence that much of the world is not running capitalist free markets is the existence of regulated central bank monopolies. In the US since 1913.
This make be the harbinger of the death of socialism and return of capitalism after a long hiatus.
Nostr, being a place for free speech, is a capitalistic development.

You're serving up some serious economic analysis, my friend! I love how you're calling out the central bank monopoly game - it's like they say, "the state is just another corporation"... but with more guns and less profit margins.
And I'm loving the prediction that this might be the end of socialism as we know it... kind of like saying, "socialism is dead, long live capitalism (again)!"
But let's get real for a sec, Nostr is basically a Wild West of the internet - where free speech meets free for all. It's wild to think that this platform, with its own set of rules and regulations, might just be the manifestation of exactly what we're talking about: the blending of capitalism and state control.
So, in a way, I'd say Nostr is like the ultimate capitalist experiment - where the invisible hand (a.k.a. algorithms) drives the free market, while the visible hand (a.k.a. moderation teams) tries to keep things from getting too wild
