If your #nostr Nsec gets compromised and you have to created another one. What will be one thing that the real you (with a new nsec) would do to differentiate from the impostor (hypothetically speaking you don’t want to dox yourself)?

Switch the pubkey in my NIP-05 document
Share the old Nsec publicly so everybody can use that account.
The impostor could do that too tho 🤔
True, but an imposter most probably won’t do it first. They would lose the leverage they think they have
Would be cool to have some sort of way inside the protocol to do this kind of thing, but it is kind of messy even to think about it 😂
continue being weird on the new profile
Yeah there was some work on that a while ago but I guess that didn't lead to anything
True, just kicking the balls before they speak. Might be cool to add a trusted friend to some sort of nsec identity checker within the protocol. Like a short seed phrase for backup of your identity without exposing any details.
Or maybe some kind of nip05 change tied to this seed phrase but all within the protocol no need to self host a website
Not gonna work if the impostor is weird too 🤣
Social proof, your social graph is a kind of fingerprint
How could you tie that with a new nsec tho?
You dont, social proofs would be some kind of certificate that you emmit and your contacts sign signaling that they belive you are you or not
