Bluesky is hardly decentralized. My account was personally banned from it, and it goes down completely with infrastructure outages. It is significantly less ‘decentralized’ than email — where most conversations begin or end at gmail.com now.

At least Gmail only has a quarter market share. 99.996% of Bsky users are on Bsky.app — the idea that Bluesky is even remotely decentralized is a complete fucking farce. It’s a scam, and it is disappointing that the EFF has been duped by it.
