5. How it is disingenuous, I hear you ask. Actually, you can tell a lie by saying the truth. He’s making statements like “you can’t stop spam” and “filters don’t stop anything” (technically true), but obfuscating the part that you can prevent significant quantities of spam being created in the first place by running filters. Bypassing filters is nuanced, requires some technical expertise, time, and oftentimes costs more than standard txs. He omits this important context, and makes the obvious statement that spam can’t be stopped by filters, by conveniently missing the “but” part. Telling half truths is considered disingenuous by people that are not socially retarded. Hope you’re not socially retarded, otherwise you might not get it… just like Will.
