12 is a very special number.
It’s amazing the inferences that astronomers were able to make hundreds of years ago about the tilt of the earth’s axis based on that parabolic shape formed by drawing a line through the sun in each successive image.

"Same time" is wrong. Each picture is taken at sunset, yes. But the moment of sunset changes from one day to the other.

Wurde es nun immer zur selben Uhrzeit aufgenommen oder zum berechneten Sonnenuntergang?
Zur selben Uhrzeit würde die Sonne ja entweder (am Äquator) immer an der gleichen Stelle stehen, oder (z.B. in Mitteleuropa) nur im Winter zu sehen sein (zum Beispiel ist im Winter manchmal um 16 Uhr Sonnenuntergang oder so...) und dann im Frühling, Sommer und Herbst um 16 Uhr noch so hoch über dem Horizont stehen, dass sie nicht auf den schmalen Fotostreifen zu sehen wäre.
Es sind also unterschiedliche Uhrzeiten, weil der Sonnenuntergang an anderen Stellen am Horizont zu sehen ist.

Sunset is a time of day in a different reckoning. If you think of it that way it’s the same time.
