Yes and it can be quite good. I was using `cliflix` which uses webtorrent to stream movies from torrent sources. With some buffering it managed to stream the data blocks as the playback needed them. Pretty cool. No browser or torrent client needed. As an artifact you get the downloaded file for keeping. Shame this is an unmaintained tool these days.
