Primal at least provided a somewhat realistic progress bar but the upload seemed a bit too fast to be realistic. Once the progress bar reached 100% it restarted and… failed.

I’m on Nostur.com — the only client where image uploads consistently work for me. Unfortunately it is iDevices only. But it is a problem that seems to come up repeatedly for the image upload rails of various clients. I feel like DHT/IPFS for media uploads with social pinning (your followers pin your content automatically) would be a nice NIP.

I use Nostur on macOS but I can’t drag and drop videos into posts and adding media only works if you use Apple Photos it seems.

Oh. Haven’t tried a video. But I am able to paste a photo from the clipboard without adding it to my Apple Photos library.

Tried that as well. Nothing happens unfortunately.

strange. Are you on the latest version? There’s not update download notices so you might not know that you need to update. Also on Tahoe? I also just tried dragging a file from Finder, that also worked.

Version 1.24.5 (450) is the latest available for me.
