I wanna zap you guys right now. I love your video software, and you KNOW I use it often. But why does my contribution disappear from Nostr immediately every time I donate? You must understand that I want to SHOW that I support you. I will donate more when you stop censoring my donations on Nostr. I thought (and I am stupid, I know) that Nostr was uncensorable. Why do my donations disappear? Let me donate publicly, please

Hi @Dave Nicholls . Thank you for your zaps. We aren't censoring your donations on nostr. The hivetalk social account's zaps go direct to the geyer fund where you can see the amounts on the contributions tab. This way we can continue show activity on geyser, and since its a different account it won't show on a client such as primal. Would you prefer we have it all just show up on primal as zaps? If so, then your contributions would go to a different lightning address not to the geyser one and won't show there. Do let us know.

I'd like my contribution to show up everywhere, Dr Karrot :))))) Why shouldn't it? I hate the 'charity' shit anywhere, because for me, charity = begging scam

Let me know when it does, please, as I don't want my donations hidden, and I know nothing about Geyser Fund. It sounds like 'GoFundMe' or something like that, and I think crowd funding is full of dishonest campaigns. I dont want to send my money there. I want to send it directly to HiveTalk, amd YES, I want it visible on Nostr

We are receiving all public support through Geyser Fund, although i guess the most public way on #nostr is to zap the notes :) We have small team focusing on making the product better, so for us it's helpful to have a place like Geyser to vehicle contributions, but we understand your concern

hi Dave, we swapped out the lightning address, this one hopefully should show zap receipts. Lightning addresses by default don't show zap receipts only ones with NIP-57 protocol enabled.
