Last weekend's hard frost devastated my wild asparagus hunting momentum. Hopefully they'll come back.

Took me a second to appreciate what you did here.
Frost only effects what's already grown and doesn't effect the roots. They will regrow.

We use to grow them as a kid growing up and they'd stay out in the cold 🥶 year round they have a good 15-30 years of growth if their well established they can stand the child.
