GM Nostr! I've been location independent for about 10 years, and now wrote a book: image Have you noticed how the world isn’t exactly what it used to be? How it seems to be getting worse with no reversal of direction in sight? I’ve noticed that too, and yet that’s not how I see the world. My view of the world is the opposite of that. I think this is the best time to be alive – and with this book, I hope I can show you too why that is. This is a practical handbook, but it is more than what it says on the cover. It is what it shows on the cover. This is about becoming capable of being at peace with the world corrupted by politics, broken money and short-term thinking. This is a handbook for elevating yourself above that, and liberating yourself from the shackles of the world of yesterday. You can be free when you decide to – this is how to get started! You can get a good preview of each chapter online, and can read the full book by signing up (for free!) with just your email, so check it out at: https://www.sovereignlanding.com/gtfo-handbook/

This started out just as a practical handbook on how to move from your home country to anywhere abroad, but I soon realized that wasn't enough. The book then became about how to approach this lifestyle in general, and how to relate to the steady (steady for now?) downfall of the legacy countries. Even though moving abroad is definitely a challenge, it isn't THE challenge. The harder thing seems to be how to make this lifestyle work in the long term: how to STAY as lightfooted as possible, while enjoying the process - how to thrive without getting stuck! Most location independent people will probably tell you that a "fully nomadic" life is extremely tiring, and I totally agree. Constant traveling just isn't a good way to live. While you can technically be just as location independent while living only in one place, the optimum is probably somewhere between those two extremes. While you'll have to find your OWN balance, this book will help you get started in thinking what that might look like, and how to make it happen!
