being bankless since 2020 i can confirm. it's fucking rough. some years better than others. these last two years... worse. chokepoints everywhere.
as you so well put: the limitations are _very_ real.
at least... in the west.

Do you mind elaborating on the choke points? I ran into one where i was going to get my haircut, a barber on btc maps. She ended up cancelling saying she looked into it and the custody for Bitcoin owned through a business came with taxes, custody fees, apparently it was really convoluted to the point that she didn't even want to try it.
