Regarding internet shutdown: Wouldn't it make sense to make APKs very easy to share P2P? I guess that's a @Zapstore feature request, but what would obviously be beneficial is that those who have bitchat etc on their device already could easily share it with others (without internet). CC @calle

Loved your content! Iโ€™ve also shared a beautiful video of rural Bangladesh on my profile, showing the transition from an old bamboo bridge to a modern one. Iโ€™d be honored if you could take a moment to check it out. If you like it, a small Zap would mean a lot! Keep up the great work! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฉ

First: let bitchat run without play services on lineageos!
Briar has this option. Probably one could copy some part from there.

yes, would be cool for a bitchat user to tap "send bitchat" and drop it onto another device without it, like an airdrop but a "bitdrop" Maybe you can share an apk another way from a phone to another phone but may be simple for not techy user to share the app when you can't download it in a grid down.

If you grab an app via F-Droid, you can then share it wirelessly with another. Not sure if it requires WiFi or not. Most apps on Android require WiFi for that to function,. That said, the new Pixel 10 comes with airdrop feature, and they are bringing it to Pixel 9 updates. Then again, Google Pixels have now closed source much of the code, so who knows if that feature will come to DeGoogled phones.
