So I had a half fleshed out thought for reducing noise...
Correct me if I'm wrong but the noise is coming from the fans no? The sole purpose of the fans are to pull the heated air off the miner. I think you can remove them in this application.
The dryer already has a system to pull the hot air into the drum, all you need to do is tap into it. Since you're already pulled the back off the dryer, you could just build a box and attach it directly over the hole. Take the case and the fans off the miner and stick it in the box. The existing system the dryer uses to pull hot air into the drum will simply pull it from the bare miner.
You'd have a silent miner but it can only run while the dryer is running...

You should make sure the power that is being given to the miner does not run while the system pull is not there. You Might want to connect it to the power supply of the internal heating element. You could als use noctua fans which are silent.
Any idea how much CFM the stock fans are meant to move? I know for PC building noctuas are arguably the best but can they handle the same volume of air while remaining nearly silent?
You have multiple options. For s9s noctuas are the best solution we believe. For the s19s (the one you have) you can put it in a sound dampening box. Our open source drawings attached. Or you built it up with a cloud line fan with steering from Zack Bomsta’s Njord board. My boxes are def. More silent we’re talking 50-60db vs 20db. The foam you see in the pictures is Merford audio and fire proofing double z layered. The pillar is our own creation with a standard Bosch car filter in front.
