A very important point to always remember. If we lived in a free society we can be free and expressive of our identity. We don't live in a free society. State and private entities accumulate power and have a material interest to sustain the structures of power. Open source, open data and libre ethics allows people or groups or communities to have pseudononymous identities to create a free world.
