i'm thinking that crypto is the most magic-resistant currency you can use a spell to duplicate gold or paper money or create an imitation/illusion/forgery [counterfeit/fool's gold] you could even magically teleport/steal the money but with bitcoin: duplicating does nothing, it's just creating a backup imitation won't work since a computer is checking the numbers, not a human teleporting _could_ work if you teleported the seed etc, but that's a lot harder than just plucking a few dollars from a generic cash register 🪄🎩💸
