I could have told you this sans study. Just look at the state of the world and the mental capacity of our youth. I read stuff like this and feel like even our scientists have gotten dumber.

YouTube automatically opens up YouTube Shorts when I open the app, which is obviously an attempt to suck you into the app, and it’s terrible. If nostr adopts short-form videos, clients would be wise to allow users to disable them in settings. Interesting pull. Feels like short form should be the trailer, not the whole movie. Brands that invest in deeper threads and real convo look way healthier long term.
