as someone who respects the privacy of open source contributors I am torn on this - think a good balance will be the transparency reports we will release that breaks down amounts by category - open to feedback

Don't disclose imo, open source devs dont need their salaries to be public.
The org has enough clout that you can protect dev privacy without being forced into this.
I doubt the people who complain about this would donate anything of substance either way tbh
