Is there a tutorial somewhere? Did a test post, but I feel like I'm missing the bigger picture on what the vision is. Is it basically just a map app so you can see where your followers are/were at a given time?

That's kind of the point, to see who's posting locally, it they're geotagging their notes. This would allow you to see what's happening locally. Kind of like Snapchat maps.
