Watching how BlueSky seems to be taking off, and yes, it will likely run into the same issue as Twitter, I am seeing #nostr not as a direct competitor but rather as an independent publishing and payment protocol. The ability to create and receive payments without permission is nostr’s superpower. Much more interesting than a censorship-resistant shitpost platform. Seeing long-form and publishing experiments like @npub1yzvx...rf8q and @npub1s3ht...75wz have me very encouraged that this will be the future.
