I'm legit reaching that point in adulthood where I'm happy to just be myself around people instead of modify my behaviour. And it's probably one of the best things that could have happened to me. Used to be ashamed of who I am (high functioning autistic) but at the end of the day being who I am attracts real friends, like chosen family type shit, is less stressful, and I immediately know if someone actually likes me or not, cuz I'm very love or hate it seems. Sorry if this is babbling nonsense. An still very very baked.

It's absolutely a good thing. It's already filtered multiple toxic people out of my life. And I feel more confident in general, project that onto others, am far more sociable and motivated, so many benefits. Much better than seeking external validation.
