If my daughter is next to me, the phone gets put away. They are developing so fast, and need your attention. I've been trying HWRS. Just 1 in the morning. Chew it up. Don't swallow right away. It's definitely put me in a 'no internet' mood from time to time.
That book cover breaks my fucking heart. Dad's: being a dad is the most important, meaningful, rewarding role of your life. Don't waste it.
i definately cut back, but any comparative analysis from what i get on the phone, even here on nostr, is insignificant to investing in my children i can do much better still i know the words, but the image hit me hard
Have to remind myself every day when my children are around. Stay present. These years won't come back. Who the fuck cares what some right or left wing nut has to say about Trump or Biden on X?

In today’s world, it’s incredibly hard not to fall into the trap of constant media and social feeds. Scrolling is endless. Moments with loved ones are not. How do you handle it?

One can be both: a doom scroller and excited for a future of opportunity.
Infinite scrolling should be done away with. Pagination is much healthier for everyone's minds. Or at least it should be a hybrid format and not something as unconscious as just scrolling.
Most people, yes. But if we were to wait for the will and predisposition of the majority, not even Nostr would exist today. Besides, new consumer niches are always emerging, and even old models can be much better developed, adapted and given a new purpose. A Nostr client could be created with a focus on increasing user awareness and organization, using one page per day, for example. Even today, there are a significant number of people who are changing their habits, exchanging reading on regular screens (PC, tablet and cell phone) for ereaders, and even for physical books again, for reasons of visual comfort, health and others, such as distancing themselves from social networks. The demand for health, in general, is only growing, so much so that even at Nostr, #Nosfabrica (a team focused on developing private sending of health data) was created with @Vitor Pamplona and #Sobrkey from @Seth
