I mistyped. Baby would start with all parents' junk dna, as variations, alternatives, to patch with / test with depending on environmental stresses and constraints. These, separate from the base blueprint, which reflects general survivability among many more generations. This might explain such drastic variance in relatively few generations, and many of the valid criticisms of darwin as i see it. This, all within my (probably wrong half-assed on the fly) hypothesis.
