It's interesting how the advent of AI has affected different programmers in different ways. I was a hardcore coder from 1994-2021, now retired. I enjoy coding and problem solving far more than prompting and "vibe coding," but guys like me are dinosaurs. I'm so glad I got out of that business before the advent of AI tools.
