Some people tried. Not as configurable as what we are doing where you can choose your Trust provider to create the scores for you. Usually clients just force their own WoT algorithms on people.

Usually it is a hard coded algorithm provided by the client. We are doing it differently. You can choose a provider on Amethyst. So, the equation to generate the scores can be anything you want. You can even self host your own score provider. :)

What justification is there to trust wot?

In the way we are doing, you select your WoT provider. You can even self host and edit the equation to match what you, and only you, need. Full freedom.

That's not a good solution, only temporary because it still requires me to look at the number, and guess. Charging 21 sats or lower to send a DM is a good solution. Most scammers aren't willing to pay on a mass scale.
