in the end the cost of both gold and cows comes down to energy required to mine or grow them ... HOWEVER that is only true if anybody NEEDS them ... people need cows. gold is needed for some applications. the need for bitcoin is rather questionable.

Idgaf about bitcoin. Cows are more important. The only reason gold is valuable is that it is a metal of peace and prosperity. It's too soft to use as a weapon so it was only used for ceremonial and status visages. It was fought over forever not because of it's practical usages, but for the status it proclaimed once won. These days though, it's useful as a conductor. That's about it. Apparently, the Annunaki have pretty much taken it all from the powers that shouldn't be to revive the atmosphere on Planet Nibiru though, so it shouldn't be a problem very soon.
