I doubt I will ever be done playing tears of the kingdom and breath of the wild which work fine on my switch. Maybe some day. I am not much of a gamer. Just a Zelda fan mostly..

Jj… nekdy v cervnu. Entry price 450$ takze u nas minimalne 450€, spis pocitam +50-100€. Overkill to je urcite. Ale zase neni jine zarizeni, ktere by takhle nativne umelo lokalni (sedim na gauci vedle brachy) multiplayer aniz bys musela neco sileneho dokupovat. Takze pokud jste nemeli “jednicku” a uz vubec ne tu s OLED displejem, tak bych do toho sel. Za ty penize nic moc lepsiho nevymyslite. Leda PS5 s dvema ovladaci… ale to si nevezmou na cesty a tak.

Steamdeck everything else falls short

Máme xbox, mladej na tom jede Minecraft a HotWheels jak drak. Ale kdysi jsem měla wii a to by pro ně oba bylo perfektní. Strašně moc her z Wii Party disku bylo fakt poklad. Hráli jsme to ve skupince ožralí každý víkend, tak vím 😌😆

I have one with OLED. But to be honest, since they “upgraded” it so much that my GOG library stopped working, I don’t play much as I did. That’s the magic of consoles I think - ease of use.

It's probably not a day one buy for me, but its a Nintendo product, so unfortunately they have me by the balls. They get you with the first party offerings.

Yea I think if Switch was 3rd most succesful console in the world (and the 2nd being also Nintendo) they can get a little cocky with the pricing. Also I somewhat guess the LCD is there to improve margins, leaving open space to improve in the future. As well there were speculations that they were not able to get their hands on so many OLED displays at once - so they basically need to wait for initial FOMO to fade out a bit. For me it’s not a day 1 buy anyw. I am simply not that guy. But eventually I would want to own that, because I find the ease of going from TV to handheld in the matter of second a really nice feature.

Same here. Although Switch was only my second after Wii I really think they are good in making smart solutions. I love my Steam Deck, and still my no. 1 go to - is a PC… but Switch Lite and later my Switch OLED were a great addition mostly for travelling.
