That’s not the point. The reason many of us want to restrict arbitrary data on Bitcoin is because we don’t want the chain turning into a platform for spam projects like Citrea or other shitcoins. Selling Bitcoin to normies is already hard enough. Making the blockchain look like a playground for tokens, NFTs, and speculative projects only makes adoption harder. And on top of that, we don’t want permanently 4Mb full blocks.
