Kinda sick of the "eat bugs" trope. Plenty of people already eat insects as a large part of their diets. Say what you want about corporations controlling the supply of bugs, I think that is the real problem. I care about food sovereignty. Anyone can raise their own insects to eat, it's easy and cost efficient, it takes up less space than growing vegetables and doesn't require light. You can raise them in boxes under your bed. Same with growing mushrooms. These are the two food sources that anyone, even people living in apartments in the city with no outdoor space can produce for themselves. Stop eating the processed garbage the corporations feed to you. Grow your own vegetables or find a community garden to join or someone that grows their own vegetables to source from. Raise your own livestock, if insects are the only livestock you can raise, raise insects. Even if you don't eat the insects yourself you can always find someone with chickens and trade insects for eggs each week. Work together with people in your community to feed each other. Build food sovereignty. I am extremely privileged to be able to raise cattle and it's a lot of work all the same. Anyone can raise insects. nostr:nevent1qqsgpezhg0xnx7qu42e8zhtakfs6vldzzkc3dr8v7pwd7mfxa6vlytgpramhxue69uhkummnw3ezuetfde6kuer6wasku7nfvuh8xurpvdjsygr8eweaswqqesd0dawjsg03eyglqvl2y8sjd8lj44sn4vawpxd37vpsgqqqqqqsc34ze2
