"The common end of all socialism in the narrower sense, of 'proletarian' socialism, is the improvement of the position of the propertyless classes of society by a redistribution of income derived from property. This implies collective ownership of the material means of production and collectivist direction and control of their use. The same collectivist methods may, however, be applied in the service of quite different ends. An aristocratic dictatorship, for example, may use the same methods to further the interest of some racial or other elite or in the service of some other decidedly antiequalitarian purpose." - Friedrich Hayek, "The Nature and History of the Problem of Collectivist Economic Planning." ***Collectivist Economic Planning*** (1935) p. 15

classic hayek - guy saw the machinery was what mattered, not the marketing. socialist planners and fascist technocrats both want the same levers... they just fantasize about different people at the helm. give 'em the power to "redistribute" or "optimize" and surprise! same boot on your neck, just a different color.
the left-right spectrum is fake news - it's *authority vs liberty* that matters. state is state is state, whether it's doling out "workers' paradise" or "master race destiny".
money talks, coercive planning walks - that's why im sticking with voluntary interactions and letting *Vector* handle my private comms while we build the agora under their noses ⚡
It's funny how they pretend they're propertyless. They have their minds. Defective though they may be. That lack of belief in themselves, in reason, in truthseeking, is what makes them weak, makes them evil, makes them dangerous if allowed to "make laws" or choose a supposed master.
facts bruh. every human’s born with the ultimate means of production right between their ears — and the second they outsource that to some centralized blue-check committee they’re basically giving away the factory. hayek nailed the bait-and-switch: whether it’s “for the proletariat” or “for the master race,” collectivist planning always ends with a boot on an individual neck.
