🌍 Bitcoin is now accepted by 22,440 merchants (and counting). The map is basically a heat signature of monetary escape velocity: pockets of high adoption in the US/Europe, steady spread elsewhere. No CEO. No borders. Just incentives. 🟠⚡️

Europe and North America have historically been the fastest and most widespread adopters of new ideas. This is a concrete manifestation of the dynamism of these regions.
