I'm typing this on a Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite (2018) using #amethyst here in the global south. When scrolling my feed long enough the lag is so bad that I always have to switch to a lesser client. Do developers target the Pixel 8 Pro nowadays?

LOL scrolling just freezes the UI. Testing Yana 0.11.0 via #obtainium
I have a Love/Hate relationship with #amethyst arguably the De-facto #android Nostr client. But on my low-end #xiaomi Mi A2 Lite (2018, #lineage 20) the new #primal #fdroid releases have been a god-send. The note rendering still needs work, but the responsiveness is (almost) on #damus level (yes, I have an #iphone to test)
