Welp. That’s a solid 222,000 sats I’ll never see again 😥⚡️💸 Never been scammed before, but it feels kinda shitty. In hindsight, the high hashrate and final-settlement-only payment methods should have tipped me off. Seeing the .org website, I assumed maybe it was the foundation behind the company, or something. But should have dug deeper. On the other hand, I get so many scam calls and social engineering attempts, I think I felt a false sense of security around knowing what to expect or look for. But that stuff is all “outbound” scamming, rather than standing up a WooCommerce site to take payment for something they never deliver. Definite bummer. Definitely glad it wasn’t more money.
