I am wondering if that is the issue. Most were created from Amethyst, but a couple were created from Jumble. Maybe creating the ones in Jumble nuked the ones that had previously been created in Amethyst.

This is absolutely a known issue, and it’s even documented in the Mutable documentation: “Other clients may overwrite and delete all private mutes. Only manage private mutes through Mutable.”
