This is interesting. I think this is context dependent. I think it’s true, but I also think there are mindsets that perpetuate unhealthy habits. So while I might understand, I challenge that mindset but now it’s being viewed as not understanding. And it’s not trying to weaponize anything - it’s just a philosophical difference. It’s just hard to articulate that. What do you think?

Haha. True. But in this day and age, most people don’t realize the context dependent part it seems.
So what I was trying to say in a clunky way.
Weaponized misunderstanding. I actually understand what someone is saying/experiencing. But I disagree with the mindset lens they are viewing that experience. So it might appear dismissive to someone, but it’s just how I view the world and problems. It still leads to exhaustive circle conversation, because if we have a different philosophy to tackle challenges…we might never agree. But it’s not actually miscommunication. It’s just a different view/angle of the problem.
