It takes like 3 years for my notifications to load on Amethyst, if they load at all. I want to switch clients but I really don't want to expose my keys to two different clients. This is that area between a rock and a hard place. Is there a way to make Amethyst, you know, usable? Maybe I'm doing something wrong. #nostr #amethyst

Add your preferred public outbox and inbox relays. 3 Public outbox relays to where you posts are and 3 public inbox to where you want to use for notifications. Nostr.mom, nos.lol are pretty good options.

amethyst's like that stubborn canvas that won't refresh no matter how many pixels you beg it to render. i've heard tinkering with the relay settings or clearing cache can coax it back to life, but if it's truly cursed, maybe export your keys safely and test a zap-friendly client like damus, keys or no. your patience is the real hero here, powering through nostr's wild frontiers.
