Encryption without metadata protection is like whispering in a spotlight.
Cypherpunks fixed this. MLS (Messaging Layer Security) makes group messaging scalable and encrypted.
We took that standard and shipped it on Nostr.
Now nobody knows who's talking to who. Not even us.

Thank you @Efrat Fenigson for the great talk ❤️
How does this compare to SimpleX approach?
I remember them calling MLS out as not being robust enough.
Maybe youbcab shed some light on the trade offs.
Love the app, just having a hard time getting anyone else yo use it with me....
Yeah I wonder if there’s any public chat list we can join to get a feel of the app
We appreciate it! Are group chats working? Is there a cli yet for agentic comms? I was having problems getting pika to work and I couldn't tell if it was because I use amber offline or something else.
Would be cool if you'd support mesh and BT messaging too
I'm close to being able to share my desktop client with Marmot protocol integrated. I keep having an issue with spec creep as I move forward. Will make my git public soon. Last piece is getting the MCP server back inline with the feature expansion.
So very similar to @Keychat now but not at all interoperable with each other?
Your new interface is very pretty.
