It is a score, i am not sure that it is very social or that a high score improves your chances of getting a credit. And you will be pleased to learn that vertex is not using mutes or reports to calculate the score.

In it sense it can be used as such. AQSTR uses it as one of the minimum requirements, among others metrics to determine if you can perform actions with a promotional campaign

Yes because the idea is to somehow exclude bots, or a single pearson spinning many npubs. But sure you can use it in many ways, also to downgrade people for some services.
