Beyond legal defense: playing the right game against fiat violence

TLDR: extracting value from the Bitcoin community to fund the whims of the "fiat-clown-world," such as legal defense funds, is detrimental for the community and creates a game theory that encourages more violence from fiat people.

-----

Punishment of the producers

Ross Ulbricht made the software, hosting and completed the full execution to set in production a digital free market. Samourai wallet made the software, hosting and completed the full execution to set in production a bitcoin layer one wallet that enhanced privacy. Hodlnaut exposed the truth about an impersonator scamming people.
They have in common that they all paid the price for delivering useful products voluntarily consumed by others in a way not tolerated by the fiat system. They all did an activity not in compliance with the mainstream authorities, against the clown world rules. In two of these cases they were physical victims of kidnapping (which in clown-terms is called lawful imprisonment) and in the hodlnaut case he was victim of extortion and threats (which in clown-terms are called lawsuits).

What they also have in common is that, after they started to suffer in their own flesh and psyche from the attack of the extortionists and kidnappers, they opted to comply with the fiat-clown-world rules. Not doing so would have likely - though not certainly- brought them individually even more damage and loss of physical freedom than they were already suffering. In an individual analysis it can make sense for most people, in most cases, to submit to the extortion of the bully. This is an individual choice outside of the scope of this article. After all, as Epictetus illustrated: “each one decides whether he wants to hold the pissing pot or not”.
However, using these cases as a template we can study the scenario that´ s being deployed in our timeline.

Current scenario

Bitcoiners, bitcoin communities, free people, gammas, human beings in general create value. On the other hand, scammers, bludgies, kidnappers, bullies, terrorists, parasites, fiat-clown-world people attack the created value through the initiation of violence against the creators. Then, as any professional extortionist would do, they are willing to negotiate. They hold the biggest stick (in the physical world) and have made (almost) everything illegal so they can try to extort anyone at any moment for almost any reason. Bitcoin fixes this by facilitating the creation of a parallel polis society. A new permanent scalable culture where coercion and the initiation of violence against each other is frowned upon. We are now in the process of leaving aside the old ways of the monkey-like system into a new rational system based in the bitcoin ethos. In this process there are countless decisions to be made in countless scenarios during the entire period of the transition. Hence we gain efficiency by creating scalable and ethical game theories that do not benefit the looters.
On the other hand, pooling resources by the producers in order to surrender to the extortionists (such as legal defense funds) is not an optimal game to play. It's a game theory that fosters the attack on the producers and creates an economy that extracts value from the bitcoin world into the fiat-clown world. What is not good for the community is not good for the individual.

We choose the glory to go to Elysium and to close the Door of Law now in order to go back to the country, the Arcadia from which we came.” Erik Cason, Cryptosovereignty.

When a human being that did not cause any damage to another human, that did not initiate violence in any way to anyone, is caged by another human, that is called kidnapping. And when the kidnapper demands something in return for the interruption of the kidnapping it's called extortion. Regardless of the demands, marketing, culture, forms and rituals that the human with the biggest stick uses. Regardless also of the quantity of humans that form a gang with the kidnapper and for how long that gang has existed. Same logic applies when the human with the biggest stick threatens another human with the forcible removal of all his material property. An actually enforceable physical threat (lawsuit) is initiation of violence.
When victims willingly -though forcibly- surrender value to the extortionist they choose to play a game inside a game theory that stimulates more extortions. When they accept the terms of the extortionist they usually not only surrender money to him, but also recognize his alleged authority. This is specially exalted when they decide to fully abide by their rules. For example when they comply with positive law and their irrational rituals such as the ones promoted by the judicial system and its operators.

"How dare you file a lawsuit and ask a secular court to decide the matter instead of taking it to other believers!
The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters” Apostle Paul -1 Cor 6:1 NLT

How to avoid the aforementioned trap

When professional extortionists are lurking we can outsmart them by playing better games than the ones they entice us to accept. We can create games that are beneficial to the whole community instead of detrimental to it.

1. Reduce chances of successful violent attacks.
Satoshi, amongst many others nyms, proved that privacy, duly implemented, makes a physical attack impossible. When the bully doesn´t have a body to use his big stick with, he loses most of his power.

2. Increase the cost of attack.
When we can't control the success of the extortionist´ s attack we may create obstacles that increase his cost.
A brick and mortar retail merchant friend of mine breeds dobermans as a hobby. Then he places a couple of the big ones inside his shop in the service area. So, every now and then, when a professional extortionist tries to shake him down, he has to deal with a couple of unfriendly canine defenders of freedom.
With this technique my friend creates extra friction for the extortionist´ s activity. So the bully usually leaves without trespassing the area guarded by the dogs. This works as a defense because even though the entirety of police and fiat-clown-world have more force than a couple of dogs, they are reluctant to pay the extra cost to actually enforce their demands.

3. Reduce the value of the loot
In contemplation of a possible successful attack we can reduce as much as possible the value of the loot that will be grabbed by the attacker.

If we know the attacker threatens us with the removal of fiat property, we can own as little fiat property as possible. For example: owning as little as possible fiat-registered real estate property or even given an imminent successful fiat attack, sell everything for sats and lose the private key in a boating accident.

4. Punish undesired violent behaviour
Instead of paying money to the extortionists and simulating recognition of their alleged authority we can actually punish their undesired behaviour.
By adding NGU technology to Bitcoin, Satoshi charged the cost of fiat to the fiat-people. We can do the same thing every time we produce value. As long as we cease to provide value to the extortionists and trade amongst us only with consent. We do this by creating a circular economy in the parallel polis, in the second realm. The more value created in the second realm we manage to hold in there instead of feeding it to the fiat-clown-world, the faster and more efficient the transition will be. On the other hand when we abide by the bludgies' rules, rituals and culture and give them value we are drifting away from punishing their behaviour. Each time someone pays money and pays recognition of the fiat-clown-world-judicial-system they are drifting away from punishing the undesired violent behaviour. And it actually encourages it because it increases the value of the loot. On the other hand, each time a bitcoiner creates value and hides it from the professional extortionists and shares it with other bitcoiners he is indirectly punishing in a non violent way the violent behaviour that the fiat people have. By mere refusal of his services to people that have not yet evolved from primate society.

Conclusion

When a person is kidnapped or is being threatened with kidnapping and removal of all his physical goods, it may be reasonable to the victim, to his family, to his friends and even to his community to help him to get out of the predicament negotiating with the professional extortionist. However it is undoubtedly better for the community and for the proliferation of a non-violent society based on consent to avoid satisfying the extortionists desires. Because in this way we can leave behind a game theory that promotes violence for profit and replace it with one that not only does not pay the looters but it also frowns upon their actions and rejects them.

When a person is threatened to have all his physical assets confiscated for stating the truth, instead of legally defending them, he may sell all his assets for sats and let the looters empty handed. When a person is threatened with being thrown in a cage he can remove his body from the influence of the attacker like Edward Snowen or Satoshi did. When a person has already been kidnapped he can hire in the free market, by himself and or with the help of family, friends and his community the services of un-kidnapping and physical relocation.
Needless to say, these alternatives do have costs. No solutions, only tradeoffs. We cannot have a cake and eat it too.
As we build a free society these costs are being paid by individuals that create products that benefit the whole community. And we thank them for their contribution. However, the more we can minimize and distribute these costs the better. Also we can completely stop paying costs that are extractive of the bitcoin community and that inject value in the fiat-clown world by refusing to accept the terms of the fiat-clown-world people. That is, creating and distributing value in the new system to produce the necessary products and services that fulfill the bitcoiners desires without injecting value of the new system into the old one by yielding to extortion.

Very accurate on right and wrong! Good division of personal choices versus societal choices. Have to admit doing wrong sometimes out of fear of the kidnappers.
