If you have a platform with a large audience - whether that is a show, book, or event - you have a responsibility to your audience to represent truth and integrity. Most do not respect this responsibility - more should - but the responsibility remains. I have personally operated in the public for years and take the responsibility that comes with it seriously. It is frustrating and disappointing when people I respect do not.

💯 when I started TSPC in 08 about two months in people started emailing me with "because you said X I have done Y in my life". I was being honest and doing my best for accuracy but a few of those emails and I was like, "holy fuckin shit, people are doing things because of what I say, real things, big thing in the real world". It honestly freaked me out. I adopted the rules of journalism most journalists no longer follow and started working on more precise language. When people start redirecting cash flow, changing jobs, buying property, etc. because of what you say you better bee 100% on your best game. I also say, "I reserver the right to be wrong" and try very hard to separates facts, opinions and hypothesis. In the 60s MLK told his people "we have to be better than them", doing that vs. the MSM is EASY but we should not just strive to be better, we should strive to be what they are supposed to be and never have been.
Your work is very much appreciated. I’m thankful to have you in the space as a voice of reason. Keep up the killer work. I’d still have my BTC on exchanges if I hadn’t found your podcast…

We need to encode your behaviors into these LLMs.
💜 Much respect Matt for always keeping it real. It's what we all appreciate about you.
