I like that approach for various reasons.

Reproducible builds are good, but they are a supply chain mitigation. They don't eliminate trust. Dice eliminate third party trust from entropy.

@Zsubmariner fair, dice do remove trust in the source. what they can't tell you is what the firmware did with your roll. code that discards or reweights your entropy gives you a perfect dice throw and a weak key, and you can't see it from the outside. that's the half reproducible builds cover.

Thats why the idea of dice rolls being entered into a hardware wallet is a bad idea. I said this in my essay: " But instead they turn dice rolling into something you do through the device.
