If you can have a planting party, buy cheap trees from your state DNR (Dept of Natural Resources)... For buying 100+ of a species, was $0.58/ea and I went in with a friend on them. In two days with a tractor, tree sled borrowed from the Ag Extension office, 2 wives and 6 kids, we planted 1,700 saplings! 🙂
