One might expect that, on average, a male masseuse might give a better massage due to having a strength advantage. In my experience, females tend to give stronger and deeper massages. Perhaps because it's more about technique rather than strength? Anyone else have experience with this?

Probably so. I think about if the world's strongest man tried to hit a baseball, Aaron Judge could still hit one further, despite being weaker

In my experience, men have always given better massages. Weird.
I went to a female for 10 years, she had some time off recently so I tried two seperate males. Both were terrible.

Better endurance also plays a more important role, once a certain strength is achieved.
What's the old saying - a male masseuse or a female surgeon? 😆
It really doesn't matter, they either know what they are doing .. Or they don't. And or just half ass it. My best was a male, but I've had a couple females that were right there. I feel females may get tired quicker so if you are one of her later spots in the day, the quality may not be there as well..
