for sure! I could probably say the same thing but 2023 nostr was different lol. Nostr has that effect. People here are quite intelligent I think and can sniff that stuff out. I think it's the same reason our feeds don't have hardly any ads in them, only ones produced by humans who have trusted interactions. No one will survive with low effort adverts like they can on other socials. I have known enough people try nostr and leave, not because of technical reasons, just because they expected to be able to post like FB or twatter and just funnel people to their site, or newsletter or whatever. And I'm like - hey we came here because we all got fed up with other platforms, we can smell bs a mile away. We (I anyway) wanted real interactions. 10 years ago I was heavily involved in FB groups/communities which was a huge deal. But similar, in that were here to talk about something specific, and you get to know people because you interact with them enough.

In the end only the valuable information will be around long term. So focusing on valuable takes is all that is needed. Maby they are only found in 5 years from now. Maby those who see more clearly are not yet here. Too many are focused on how they get appreciation without being able to appreciate. Real appreciation needs time and spontaneaty.
