This is hard. I've lost both my parents. And others.
Grief is so hard. Took me a long time to just sit in it. Not fight it.
And for someone we love, it is best to sit with them in it too. Not to try to fix it because it cannot be fixed.
But it can be beautiful too at times. I'm sure you both have had this experience already.
