A squirrel life β‰  a human life Some people eat squirrels so there is that. The issue here is about property rights, not animal rights...the squirrel was property of the owner. Therefore, that is where this arguement should be centered, and there should be a due recourse for the owner.

I feel bad about the squirrel too but the amount of outrage over a squirrel compared to the unarmed human beings murdered by the state (cops) isn't lost on me. This is certainly a platform for "certain demographics." Don't get too lost in your narcissism, it might come back to bite you in the ass, again

I’m not disagreeing with the outrage. I’m just saying if people were supportive of β€œsubversive β€œ or marginalized communities when cops were storming onto our property killing us then maybe this wouldn’t have been such a surprise. Fascism always starts with the outsiders then moves to the general population once they see how desensitized people are.
Missing the point here. Pets to many humans are family members. Almost, or on the same level as a child. The fact that they came and killed them as distractions for the election. Makes this a far more sinister in nature. This is just one of many events that happen daily which we the people just sit here and take it. However sometimes it can be too much. In a world filled with horrible atrocities calculated by evil clowns with power. It is watershed events like this which make shit happen.
Honestly getting up off their asses is a relative term. Many people are. Many people aren't, because we are all suffering through the greater depression together. Numb to the greatest of horrors this world has to offer. Hard to remain positive enough to even stay alive in a world that wants us all dead, or debt slaves. We try to work and don't make enough money to survive. When we are constantly in survival mode nothing else matters outside of our own little world and social circles. Which is why evil is flourishing out in the open now. There are still those people who can remain strong and steadfast. Who can truly make a difference. They are fighting the good fight. While those who have also fought hard. Now fight hard for their lives in so many ways. I take no sides in these above mentioned conflicts. I don't feel qualified to be judge jury and executioner on them. For right now we the people in the USA have our own buffet of bat crazy shit to deal with. I believe there is sufficient enough good people. We are winning behind the scenes. At least that is what I truly hope in my heart. However, I'm just a heartbeat away from finally secluding from humanity into the wild. For this tiresome world of men weighs heavy on my heart. So many evils to be fought. Just enough heroes to win. Makes us all tired and spread very thin.
This is why #bitcoin and #nostr are so impactful and important. Humans are carrying massively heavy burdens. It’s nice to have an asset class that’s accessible and offers hope while simultaneously having a protocol that empowers freedom of expression. As the two work in tandem humans are given an earthly refuge to find solace. A place to reset and regroup our perspectives. We weren’t created to tie our purpose/life to governments, banks, or centralized social media sites.
